Located behind the Viking Lodge, guests can enjoy a walk on the trail system during the summer and fall months and snowshoe during the winter. Wildlife, including bear, mountain lion, deer, elk, and moose have been sighted in this area along with a host of native birds.

Available for pre-arrival requests as well as while you're on property, your Concierge can make dining reservations, spa appointments, transportation arrangements, activity suggestions and reservations, and even provide personalized shopping services so your home is stocked and ready for your arrival.

Transportation to & from the airport (FCA) & Whitefish Amtrak Depot is provided based on availability for arrivals & departures scheduled between 7a & 10p. Advance reservations are required. Call 406.863.4000 or e-mail your travel details to [email protected] at least 3 days prior to travel. We recommend departing The Lodge at least 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departures. The Lodge is not responsible for any missed flights.
Shuttle service is offered to our downtown sister property, The Firebrand Hotel & Restaurant. Through May 23rd, shuttles leave the Lodge at the top of the hour every other hour between 8a and 4p and every hour between 4p and 11p. Return trips from The Firebrand depart on the tens.
Starting May 24th, shuttles leave The Lodge at the top of each hour from 8a – 11p. Return trips from the Firebrand depart hourly at 10 past the hour.
Addtionally, the free community S.N.O.W. BUS offers transportation to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort and various stops around Whitefish. The bus boards at the south end of the Viking parking lot along Wisconsin Ave. Visit bigmtncommercial.org for summer schedule.
The Lodge has a limited amount of rental vehicles available to our lodging guests. All vehicles seat up to five passengers. For more information or availability e-mail [email protected]
Local automobile rentals may be delivered to the Lodge, based on availability. Please note, it is critical to reserve well in advance, particularly during summer, holidays, and events.
An underground parking garage is available through the valet. The garage is equipped with a Tesla charging station and alternative electric car charging station. Oversized vehicle and trailer parking can be accommodated only with advance request.
